Les \u00e9l\u00e9ments de l&rsquo;accumulateur voient leur r\u00e9sistance interne augmenter, ce qui rend le courant de charge inefficace.<\/p><p>La deuxi\u00e8me cause est un circuit \u00e9lectrique qui reste activ\u00e9 et qui provoque la d\u00e9charge de la batterie m\u00eame lorsque le v\u00e9hicule est \u00e0 l&rsquo;arr\u00eat. La consommation \u00e9lectrique globale dans ces conditions doit se situer aux environs de 10 \u00e0 20 mA (ou 0,02A) maximum.<\/p><p>Si la mesure indique un chiffre plus \u00e9lev\u00e9, il faut chercher le circuit responsable.<\/p><p>Pour mesurer cette consommation, il faut se munir d&rsquo;un amp\u00e8rem\u00e8tre ou d&rsquo;un multim\u00e8tre (calibre minimum 10 A).<\/p><p>L&rsquo;id\u00e9al est de laisser le v\u00e9hicule au repos une demi-heure afin que tous les syst\u00e8mes \u00e9lectroniques passent en phase de veille (notamment sur les v\u00e9hicules r\u00e9cents).<\/p><p>Pr\u00e9parez votre multim\u00e8tre en branchant les 2 cordons. Le rouge sera dans un premier temps raccord\u00e9 sur la borne sp\u00e9cifique \u00ab\u00a010A\u00a0\u00bb. Faites pivoter le commutateur pour le placer en position 10A \u00e9galement.<\/p><p>N&rsquo;engagez pas votre cl\u00e9 dans le neiman pour ne pas \u00eatre tent\u00e9 de mettre le contact pendant les mesures. En effet, avec un moteur diesel la mise du contact activerait le circuit de pr\u00e9chauffage (70-80 Amp\u00e8res) qui endommagerait probablement l&rsquo;appareil de contr\u00f4le.<\/p><p>Coupez l&rsquo;\u00e9clairage de l&rsquo;habitacle (interrupteur 3 positions).<\/p><p>D\u00e9branchez le c\u00e2ble n\u00e9gatif de la borne \u00ab\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0\u00bb de la batterie. Branchez le multim\u00e8tre entre la borne \u00ab\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0\u00bb de la batterie et le c\u00e2ble qui y \u00e9tait raccord\u00e9.<\/p><p>L&rsquo;inversion des c\u00e2bles de l&rsquo;appareil n&rsquo;aura aucune incidence sur les circuits du v\u00e9hicule. Seul l&rsquo;affichage r\u00e9agira en affichant le signe \u00ab\u00a0-\u00ab\u00a0, puisque le courant circulera en sens inverse dans le multim\u00e8tre.<\/p><p>Si sur votre voiture la batterie se trouve \u00e0 l&rsquo;arri\u00e8re, appuyez aussi sur l&rsquo;interrupteur qui permet d&rsquo;\u00e9teindre l&rsquo;\u00e9clairage du coffre.
